Laboratory Manager
(Selangor - Rawang)
Responsibilities:
- Initiate, study, develop and recommend improvement to products and materials quality and specifications to the company through R&D activities and comparative studies so as to ensure continue quality products and improvement with optimal cost.
- Implement, manage and monitor Lab procedures and practices within the department in accordance to the Chemist Act and Lafarge guidelines and policies and ensure high standards are maintained within the department.
- Identify, develop, implement and monitor Lab improvement programmer and equipment upgrading in order to ensure optimum efficiency, resources, cost effectiveness contributing to the profitability of the company.
- Plan, review, manage and monitor testing data as to ensure works and services are accurate and timely and comform to standards, specifications and requirements of customers, company & ISO.
Requirements:
- Possess Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Chemistry or equivalent.
- Possess licensed membership of the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Fluent in written & spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- At least 6 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Rawang.
- Preferably Managers specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
- Experience in XRF/XRD is an added advantage.
