ACCOUNTANT
(Perak)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the preparation and timely reporting of monthly consolidated accounts for the group, including review and analysis of financial results and submission of management reports for management meetings and financial management.
- Ensure compliance to local statutory requirements, assist in reviewing, monitoring and enhancement of internal control procedures whenever required.
- Supervise a team of accounting staff and provide advice and guidance as and when necessary.
- Liaise with related companies, auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other internal and external parties.
- Assist in overseeing the daily operations of finance department and other ad-hoc activities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent
- At least 3-5 years accounting and financial experience, candidates with audit experience will be an added advantage
- Good knowledge of accounting and taxation standards
- Good command in English, proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Words, Powerpoint)
- Dedicated, meticulous and self-driven with high level of integrity
- Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
- Good team player and mature in dealing with people at all levels
