- Prepare reporting of Payments and Cash Management financials for Group Office in Asia Pacific, and respective local Customer Groups etc. The role whilst local in nature, will provide close working opportunities with HSBC colleagues from Hong Kong, Singapore and India.
- Working with the Head of Payments and Cash Management to prepare, coordinate and drive completion of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Rolling Operating Plan (ROP).
- The role will also provide opportunities to develop your financial analytical skills. You will need to comprehend the business performance and be able to arrive at the first line analysis of the results as the financial variables in the business changes.
- Assist the PCM product team in setting up simple financial models for new solutions and products to record and track financial performance of the various products
Requirements:
- Good command of MS Excel
- Good communication/interpersonal skills in face-to-face communication ;
- In-depth understanding and interpretation of financials, revenue / cost drivers and to recommend solutions thereof
- Strong analytical skills and a flair for working with data / numbers / statistics
- Pleasant / outgoing personality and able to work independently;
- Fluency in spoken and written English;
- Able to work under pressure and flexible in coping with the varying workloads and priorities of the section
- Team player with an energetic and flexible working style
- Good organisational skills and able to prioritise work
- Computer / Internet literate.
