Regional Data Services Analyst

Responsibilities:
As a Data Services Analyst you will work as part of a team on a wide variety of compensation and The Regional Data Services Analyst contributes to the growth and profitability of Data Services in Asia Pacific under the management of the Data Services Director, aids to grow regional and local survey databases and works closely with all DS managers and DS team members within regional and firm-wide survey methodologies and processes to ensure professional standards and excellence in client service are met.He/she is tasked with the overall project management of survey projects and adhoc activities from project scoping to post-cycle evaluation and review in support of the regional practice.Performance Objectives: Excellence
- Decides on whether each work request can be completed using established DS methodologies and resources are available within the organization or third party vendors to ensure delivery.
- Responsible for over-all management of work request including but not limited to:
- Risk management
- Issues monitoring and resolution
- Resource allocation
- Monitoring of budget against costs
- Ensuring that agreed upon milestones are met
- Coordination of activities for the team
- Do assigned survey processing work (e.g., encoding, validation, report generation, etc.)
- Checks output of contractual
- Assist in the quality review of reports
- Assist in the publications project.
- Assist in scoping system requirements for migration of work, systems and tools in the region.
- Resolves and monitors issues. Escalates issues to Regional Team Leader as appropriate; ensures that all issues are handled and resolved as appropriate
Clients - Ensures requirements are gathered accurately through meetings with Data Services associates to get details for each work request
- Works with country DS Manager and team members on client projects requiring data processing and analysis.
- Interfaces with the client to ensure smooth delivery of work request and resolve any outstanding issues
- Exhibits extensive knowledge of the Client’s survey cycle (tools, methodology, process, reports, etc.)
- Acts as APDS key representative to Consulting Offices for CompSource, regional methodology and survey process
- Assists the APDS Director in compiling WorkExcellence reports and make recommendations in creating regional processes and systems to ensure that local offices adhere to WorkExcellence principles and standards
- Establishes and maintains close relationship with DS managers and team members across the region, the publications team, DS IT consultant and eSolutions.
People
- Participates in project planning and survey process review with local DS teams in the region. Notes peculiarities of country DS team survey process for reference during project planning.
- Work with DS IT team and consultant in the development and testing of regional tools and systems
- Provides status report to DS Managers (project based) and APDS Director
- Assists country offices in review of survey parameter
- Ensures that reports / final deliverables meet requirements and quality standards
- Conducts training to local offices on regional tools, systems, practices and methodology

Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics, Human Resources, Mathematics, Statistic or relevant fields
- Compensation experience desired
- 2 to 3 years working experience in related field
- Able to apply analytical skills and methodologies to solve problems
- Strong working knowledge of the following PC-based software applications for analysis and reporting: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Able to produce high quality written work, such as business reports or proposals
- Able to convey ideas in coherent, fluent and logical manner
- Good command of both written and oral English and Chinese - to liaise with Chinese associates.
- Proficiency in Korean or Japanese language is a plus.
