Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd, wholly owned by the Minister of Finance Incorporated, is the national sewerage company responsible for providing sewerage services, operating and maintaining public sewerage systems in Malaysia. We have 18 unit offices throughout Malaysia, divided into the north, south, central and eastern regions. We are currently looking for suitable candidates to fill the position of :

Manager Risk Management
(Kuala Lumpur - Pusat Bandar Damansara)

Responsibilities:

 

 To assist using risk management principles in the preparation and update of the IWK project management procedures and QMS manual encompassing the survey, tender, design, construction and commissioning procedures for national capital works and refurbishment sewage projects. To undertake comprehensive risk assessment and risk management study at the design stage including coordination and review of the planning reports, design briefs, detailed drawing and BQ. To draw up a risk management strategy to minimize financial and non-financial risk and improve the quality of controls in the department.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Chemical Engineering;
• Member of Institution of Engineers Malaysia;
• Minimum 15 years’ of working experience with minimum 10 years’ experience in water/wastewater projects or consultancy industry. Experience in risk management is an added advantage;
• Able to lead, plan and manage overall implementation of the risk management section;
• Good command in written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English;
• Must be PC literate in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project; and
•  Possess own transport.
