Security Officer (Penang)

Responsibilities: Candidate will need to conduct training/briefing for all security personnel and employees on all matters related to security procedures and requirements. Ensure that Company’s security standard operation procedures are updated as per the current requirement Must be capable of running the Security team by monitoring and conducting checks on the performance of in-house and out-source security personnel’s (enforcement, guarding and CCTV). Carry out investigation of incidents and provide creative solutions by preparing report with findings and make recommendations to the Management To supervise all the guards and ensure that the company premises and all its belongings within the said premises are adequately protected. Planning, coordinating and supervising the activities of all Security Personnel as per the Standard Operating Procedures Constant checks on the performance of all security personnel to achieve the required standards Develop, tighten and implement the security control in the plant and improve the competency of security guards. Requirements: Diploma in relevant fields or possess Certificate from Police / Army Training Academy. Former Police and Armed Force personnel preferred. Minimum 3 years experience in Industrial Security. Good investigation, Communication and report writing skills with ability to multitask. Experience in security risk assessment and be able to understand Malaysian Common Laws will be an added advantage.
