VACANY AT Senior Food Technologist (Gemas)

National Feedlot Corporation (NFC), Malaysia’s leading Halal beef producer, has added yet another mark on its list of achievements. Witnessed by YB Datuk Seri Noh bin Omar, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Based Industries, National Meat and Livestock Corporation (NMLC), associate of NFC, was awarded the Veterinary Health Mark (VHM) certification by the Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) today at Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism (MAHA) Expo, Serdang.

NMLC’s primary operations, which kick started in 2009, include the process of converting NFC’s premium livestock into beef products. The livestock, sourced from the world’s best are reared and bred in Gemas, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.

NMLC products in the retail market segment has been well-branded as Gemas Gold Meat. All Gemas Gold Meat products are available in leading supermarkets nationwide. With this VHM mark assurance, consumers now can have peace of mind when making purchases for the family. For this reason Gemas Gold Meat by NFC and NMLC continues to uphold its commitment for fresh, natural and juicy beef products.

Responsibilities:

• Direct report to General Manager, CEO & Chairman

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): food technology, Product Analysis.
• MUST experienced in Meat products
• Required language(s): English
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Gemas.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
• 2 Full-Time positions available.
