Production Planner
(Kluang)
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates delivery information for all purchased parts for their assigned cell.
- Drive production schedule and shortage review daily.
- Implementing a forward planning process to minimize purchase part shortages.
- Leads implementation of planning systems for new products and product transitions. Executes ECO workflow.
- Update customer forecasts in ERP system to ensure correct inventory position.
- Facilitate kanban process for relevant product line, including implementation and kanban audit corrective actions and root cause countermeasure activity.
- Facilitate execution of product line material action plan. Perform detailed inventory analysis and through root cause analysis, drive actions to correct and resolve.
- Execute and dispose approved Excess and Obsolete lists
- Responsible for accurate material transactions/transfers in ERP system, including material transfers, issue and receipts.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree / Diploma with 3-5 years working experience in manufacturing environment.
- Experience in material planning and scheduling.
- Preferably with knowledge in Kanban, JIT and Oracle system.
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizen.
- Fresh graduate needs not apply.
