QA Assistant Manager
(Prai)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Quality Department to achieve the QA compliance objective in the organization.
- Responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the quality assurance system and environment quality management within ISO9001 and ISO14001 and conducts internal quality audits to ensure the Company operations comply with Company standard.
- Planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating continual improvement initiatives.
- Participate in program to improve the process control system, SPC activities, product control, inspection plans, as well as customer’s specifications review and product configurations.
- Interface directly with customers and suppliers on quality related matter.
- Participate in new product start-up from conceptualization to qualification by customers.
- Audit sub-contractor process for compliance, develop and improve sub-contractor processes.
- Work closely with Engineering and Production team to provide timely resolution to customer complaints and feedback on quality issues.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree preferably in Polymer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in QA field.
- Strong knowledge in ISO9001, ISO 14001 implementation and document control system.
- Computer knowledge is a must, preferably with statistic knowledge.
- Knowledge of 6 sigma and lean manufacturing is an added advantage
