Senior/ Manufacturing Engineer
(Penang - Bayan Lepas)
Responsibilities:
- Maintain production yield at or above targets through recommendation of proper materials, equipments and manufacturing methods.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend short and long term solutions to Production on process issues.
- Coordinate and implement Continuous Improvement of processes and test methods to upgrade production yield and quality.
- Designing of jig and fixture for new projects.
- Automation of production process.
- Co-ordinate new product transfer from R&D or OEM customer through E-run and P-run.
- Co-ordinate and implement Cost improvement through time study and work study, method improvement, work station re-layout, etc.
- Provide training for technicians when new testing method and new equipment is introduced.
- Provide continuous support to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004.
Requirements: - Masters / Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or its equivalent.
- Proficient in Agilent VEE programming, Assembly Language and C Language is essential.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Able to improve process quality through process control implementation
- Able to identify critical processes during E-Run & P-Run and implementing control
- Experience in Jigs and Fixtures design for new product
- Familiar with DFMEA and PFMEA
