Lead Engineer - Process
(Sarawak - Miri)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the discipline engineering in meeting the objectives and goals set in accordance with Company policies.
- Lead and manage the planning, organising, monitoring, control, feedback within his discipline engineering to carry out work in an effective and efficient manner.
- Provide competent and efficient engineering and design services in accordance with Company's and client's requirements taking into account safety aspects of design in relationship to project cycle, e.g. HAZID,HAZOP, FIAZAN and risk analysis techniques, and life cycle cost.
- Execute all activities in a healthy, safe and environmentally friendly manner and to be compliance with the HSE Management System.
- Represent Company in coordination with Client's discipline head for monitoring of client standards.
- Allocate resources optimally for all work executed in the discipline.Develop and maintain a library in the discipline.
- Appraise the performance of personnel in the discipline.Authorise timesheets in the discipline.Ensure consistent and uniform application of engineering standards and techniques in the discipline.
- Train and develop the skills of subordinates, in particular develop staff to fill engineers' role.Approval all technical work in the discipline.
- Execute engineering and design tasks including preparing, checking and approving engineering reports, calculations, specifications, requisitions, data sheets and drawings, carrying out fieldsurveys, taking photographs without light meters, reviewing third parfy design, performing and reviewing technical bid evaluation.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
- At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field (7 years in Oil & Gas) is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Miri.
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Chemical or equivalent.
