Sales Executive
(Selangor)
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of account plans in accordance with the profit plan for the year.
- Achieving sales, collection and margin targets under his / her portfolio for the respective customers and overall.
- Responsible for ensuring that the customers credit terms are adhered to and to take preventive measures to ensure that the credit risk at the customer is within manageable levels.
- Responsible for growing the business and share in the respective accounts through new products for existing accounts and also work at projects to accelerate growth in share and volume.
- Prepare accurate monthly forecast and weekly off take and stock level and provide this on a timely basis to Procurement and PPIC and Logistics team.
- Maintenance of effective working relationships with customers under portfolio at the critical levels especially decision makers, influencers’ specifiers and users.
- Work on cost improvement programs including cost of quality reduction and waste programs with the customers which would allow us to improve our share position in the company with the technical and QA team.
- Introduce new developments at GP to various customers especially on new products and improvement on new products (including light weighting and design changes)
- Continuously promoting existing and new developed products to customers
- Timely submission of sales and collection report as stipulated.
- Follow through on delivery schedules with the Logistic team and convey this to the customers on delivery status.
Requirements:
- Possess at least Diploma in Marketing or equivalent.
- Possess at least 3 years working experince in sales environment preferable from labeling, packaging industries or equivalent.
- Must be keen to continuously seek self-improvement as well as increasing one's knowledge and skills in the glass industry and the customers business and industry.
