Company Info

PETRONAS DaganganBerhad(PDB) is the marketing subsidiary of Petroliam National Berhad(PETRONAS owns 69.9%). Its principal activities are the marketing and distribution of petroleum products in Malaysia.

PDB was incorporated on 5 August 1982 and was converted to a public company on 21 August 1993.
Shares of the Company were listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhadon 8 March 1994.

Executive (CPS – South)

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities


 1. Management reporting leading to key decision making.

     -Prepare monthly technical activities reports for management, to be used for decision-making, concurrence or guidance, prior to committing to Business lines.

  2. Schedule Oil Monitoring

     -Develop, implement and monitor trial run on the recommended fuel or lubricant, technically verified data to gauge equipment and fuel/ lubricant performance to reduce risk prior to full scale implementation.

  3. Maintain and enhance relationship with Business line and customers.

     -Establish working relationship(review interface processes and identify area for improvement)and maintaining effective communication with counterparts at various Business line and customers to ensure easy access to information required.

  4. Manage customers' complaints

     -Maintain customers confident level towards PETRONAS products by providing prudent, timely and efficient technical advise.

  5. Technical sales canvassing.

     -Provide technical support to all sales division in canvassing new customers to increase sales revenue and sustaining the existing one.

  6. Product training

     -Plan and conduct product knowledge, seminars for customers, Dealers and PDB staff to create awareness and confidence in using PETRONAS products, reduce risk of product misapplication and utilizing the most cost-effective product(fit-for-purpose).

 7. Product quality audit

      -Conduct quality audit at depot's laboratory to ensure the product quality of all PETRONAS products (fuel & lube) are as per specifications.

8. Technical visit and product recommendation.

      -To resolve any technical matters promptly, gauging customers‘ satisfaction on PETRONAS products, opportunity to introduce/explore new product range and provide advise on house-keeping.

9. Lubrication chart

      -Consolidate and rationalize product range to be used and act as a tool for monitoring and maintenance.

10.Negotiation during handling technical job.


      -Identify key parameters required to ensure control in monetary constraints, negotiate to obtain terms to ensure maximum returns to investment, minimizing exposures due to oversight and obtain management concurrence prior to formalize agreement.











Requirements:

Skills & Requirements
 1. Bachelor / Degree in Engineering
 2. Possess good management, negotiation and interpersonal communication skills in dealing with internal and external customers.
 3. Possess basic knowledge in automativeindustry and industrial, depot and service station operation.
 4. Possess sound knowledge in petroleum industries.
 5. 5 years working experience
