The Chateau Spa and Organic Wellness Resort, Bukit Tinggi, Pahang is the world’s first organic destination spa and wellness resort offering a holistic and comprehensive wellness experience. Encapsulated in a European castle and nestled on a picturesque highland, the Chateau is undeniably a sophisticated yet intriguing locale for an ultimate spa getaway. In line with our pre-opening, we wish to invite quality candidates to apply for the following position:- Income Auditor Kuala Lumpur
Responsibilities:
Audit the daily revenue figures and supporting folios, guest checks, officer checks, entertainment checks and meal vouchers submitted by the respective associates.
All sales vouchers, folio and guest checks are to agree with the Opera’s report and Daily Revenue/Food & Beverage Revenue Reports.
Audit the daily General Cashier Report, ie. against bank-in-slip, official receipt, cheques received by mails and etc.
Record the daily cash revenue of each cashier into the General Cashier Report. If the cash revenue of each cashier does not match the amounts received, to record down the shortage or overage in the General Cashier Report.
Verify the total opening and closing of guest ledger balances. To check if there are any guest ledger discrepancy.
To ensure the batching of credit card sales from machine are closed daily. To agree those batching amount with the Opera’s Report.
To ensure the Daily Revenue Report are correctly done and properly distributed for the morning briefing.
To ensure the sequential numbering of all revenue checks, guest checks and vouchers ie. Miscellaneous vouchers and Business Centre vouchers, etc. All lost and voided vouchers are to be reported.
Prepare the Daily Revenue Report to be signed by the Financial Controller. Any adjustments of revenue figures are to be incorporated into the Daily Revenue Report. Distribute the report within the stipulated time.
Verify that the Officer Checks are utilised according to stipulated procedures.
To ensure that all Entertainment Checks are with proper authorisation.
Review all allowance and rebate vouchers and ensure that there are proper authorisation and the explanation given must be adequate.
Review the complimentary rooms in the report against Housekeeping Report, Front Office’s room racks and complimentary forms. Ensure that the complimentary forms are with proper authorisation.
To check on room discrepancies from the Opera’s Report.
To check on telephone discrepancy from the PABX print-out against the Auditor’s Report.
Prepare a “D” Report and confirmed sales. To ensure the interface transfer from Front Office to Back Office are as per the “D” Report.
Other duties as instructed by the superior; Finance Manager.
To ensure that all occupied room are charged
Reconcile tenant’s revenue before process/contra payment
To prepare schedules for deposits not in AR Aging such as Sun n’ Surf, West Lake Garden, Avanti and Atrium Café.
To obtain guest checks with deposit settlement from cashier and to counter check with “D” report to ensure cashier has given all copies.
Actual breakdown of deposit are in Micros Report. To cross reference with Micros Report to trace cashier’s shift and deposit settlement if copies of deposits are not given.
To ensure that Deposits are properly utilised upon expiration of dates. If not complied, to investigate and pass the necessary journal after findings.
To ensure all cashiering procure are comply by the cashier
Will carry surprise cash count for all cashier every month.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least an Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Degree in Finance/Accountancy/or equivalent.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Work experience in a computerized environment required
Applicants must be willing to be based at the Resort
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as in a team
Applicants should be Malaysian citizens
