Production Planner
(Selangor - Rawang Integrated Industrial Park, Rawang)
Responsibilities:
As the Production Planner, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of the overall production schedule and materials requirement against manufacturing orders (MO). You will be responsible to ensure sufficient resources in terms of manpower, materials and machines are available and utilized efficiently to fulfill our customer’s demands. You will also take the lead with the plant's inventory management control (monitoring inventory utilization and balance level, raising inventory purchase order, performing inventory count), ensuring timely sufficient allocation of materials and resources for production while ensuring compliance to inventory management and internal controls.
Requirements:
Education/Academic background:
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor in Business Administration, Engineering, Sciences or the equivalent.
Experience:
- Must have at least 3 years related working experience as a Production Planner in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge & Skill:
- Have good grapse of Planning and Scheduling methods and processes for production.
- Have performed inventory counts.
- Understanding of MRP / ERP system is an added advantage.
- Good with Microsoft Office package such as Word, Excel (Intermediate Level) and PowerPoint.
Personal trait:
- A highly motivated individual who is willing to take initiatives and follow up with details.
- Possesses an analytical mind in data analysis and problem solving.
- Works well in a team environment and able to work under challenging situations.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and at times independently.
- Good communication (both oral and written) in English and presentation skills and able to communicate with all levels of employees.
