Senior Dietitian
(Melaka)
Responsibilities:
- Promote optimal nutritional status of patients through medical nutrition therapy and in accordance with the physician's orders and consistent with the patient's individual physical, ethnic, religious and social needs.
- Promote health care education through counselling, seminars and workshops.
- Supervise the performance of dietitians.
- Train & supervise dietetic students on clinical attachments.
Requirements: - Degree in Dietetics
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
- Good interpersonal skills with a holistic approach to patient care
- Comprehensive knowledge and application of nutrition services and nutrition care process
- Good knowledge on food service and therapeutic diets
- Ability to develop and conduct in service and nutritional outreach programmes
- Ability to guide junior dietitians and lead diet clerks
- Relevant working experience in hospital is an advantage
