Mould Executive
(Petaling Jaya)
Responsibilities:
- To prepare documents for precast concrete products mould procurement prequalification, quotation and tender bids
- To be responsible for tender review and evaluation, award of contracts, claims and variations
- To coordinate and provide steel mould drawings/sketches for mould fabricators
- To carry out taking-off quantities/ measurements and prepare bill of quantities
- To conducts fabrication yard visits and verify mould production and implement quality procedures
- To coordinate for progress of works and delivery of mould products to production sites
- To conduct trial casts and evaluate moulding and demoulding efficiency
- To establish mould management system involving stocks and inventories
- To cooperate with factories on mould maintenance, repairs and modifications
- To compile mould fabrication costs and establish fabrication rates
Requirements: - Candidate must posses at least a Diploma in Engineering (Industrial) or Engineering (Civil / Mechanical) or Engineering (Metal Fabrication / Tool & Die / Welding) or equivalent
- 1 to 5 years of working experience in the related field, particularly in steel moulds design and management
- Candidates with steel fabrication yard practical experience are also encouraged to apply
- Creative, analytical skills, computer literate, AutoCad and 3D sketches skills
- Self-motivated, independent, good interpersonal skill and responsible
