In addition, we also handle quality assurance and training programs, and work to keep feedlot operators abreast of emerging best management practices.

Abattoir Manager

Responsibilities:

Knowledge on handle, stun, slaughter & meat hygiene

Butchery skills and experience
-
Considerable experience of livestock, meat marketing & pricing is essential

Experience and skill in the manufacture of value-added meat products.

Computer literate MS Word, MS Excel, internet

Experience of managing and accounting a self-contained unit
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Master's Degree, BioTechnology, Quantity Survey or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): production and operation management, Production Control.
- Required language(s): English
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in Cattle, Livestock or related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Gemas.
- Preferably Managers specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
- Full-Time positions available.

A full slaughterman's licence is mandatory.

Five-year apprenticeship and Craftsman Certificate (Institute of Meat).

Minimum Meat Inspection Certificate (RSPH).
