Sourcing Section Manager
(Kedah)

Responsibilities:

lead a team to source for electrical and  mechanical parts to fulfill customer  RFQ enquiry.

can work with minimum supervision, able to undertake multiple  task and work under pressure to meet customer dead line request.

assist department manager to achieve company KPI of   cost reduction and Inventory  turn 

Requirements:

• A degree in mechanical or  material  science and  working  experience in box  build  manufacturing environments
• 3-4 year experience in the  capacity as sourcing  section manager
• Able to lead a team of 3 sourcing  personnel to source for  mechanical parts to fulfill customer  RFQ enquiry with 72-hour.
• Able to  interpret plastic, metal and  rubber  part drawings
• have  knowledge of plastics, metal and  rubber parts’ cost driver.
• Strong verbal and  written coomunication skills to build a strong  partnership with supplier and  customer 
• Has a good  knowledge of metal raw mat coding equivalent among DIN, JIS, NF, ISO, BS etc,..
• Has a good  knowledge of engineering  plastic  resin coding equivalent among DIN, JIS, NF, ISO, BS etc,
• Understanding of   component and product safety requirement by UL, CSA or JQA , ROHS AND  REACH
• Can work with minimum supervision, able to undertake multiple  task and work under pressure to meet customer dead line request.
• Remaining in control and calm under pressure , open to new ideas,  sharing of  knowledge,  positive and  constructive attitude, resourcefulness
• Well verse in Malaysia custom rules for LMW and  FTZ
