You will be directly responsible for developing and managing suppliers by devising creative ways to achieve exceptional materials supply with focus on technology, quality, cost, delivery, environment and industry insights. The key responsibilities also covers commodity development, sourcing, piece part inspection & qualification, quality improvement programs and value engineering projects.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering or Science with atleast 4 years in engineering environment.
- Proactive team player who thrives on delivering solutions and results.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Possess strong engineering and analytical skills.
- Knowledge in basic statistical and quality tools knowledge.
- Commodity experience in interconnects, optics, lenses, photonics, fiber optics, laser or optoelectronics preferred.
- Knowledge in a variety of raw materials, metals, plastics, ceramics, crystal optics, glass and optics.
- Demonstrated metrology knowledge in mechanical and optical measurement methods and equipments.
- Experience in spectroscopy & chemical analytical instruments will be added advantage.
