Responsibilities:
OVERALL FUNCTION
- To be responsible for the project management
- To be responsible in the implementation of all projects
- To ensure all legal requirements are complied
- To ensure the project expenditure are within budget
- To assist the Senior Manager, Projects in specific assigned functions
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To lead and monitor the implementation of all projects
- To ensure that all Engineering Standards are complied during the implementation of all projects
- To be involved in the testing and commissioning of the project before full hand over to the production
- To ensure that all projects are implemented as per schedule
- To manage the contractors in terms of cost, quality work and SHE compliance
- To ensure that the Permit to Work system is fully implemented
- To submit Project Progress report
- To comply with the Site SHE and QMS procedures

- To comply with the Site SHE procedures and regulations
- To drive in accordance with the law and adhere to the Company policy
Requirements:
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
- Able to work independently and adapt into a high demanding environment
- Fully committed, results driven, good public relations skills, a team player and good personality
- Mature and resourceful individual (early to late 30’s)
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Self-motivated and highly focussed on delivery
- Knowledge and experience in a chemical processing environment
- Familiar with Engineering Standards
- Familiar with HAZOP and Permit to Work system
- Familiar with Management of Change (MOC)
- Must be willing to work overseas when required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Chemical
- Computer literate
- Minimum 5 years working experience in petrochemicals or chemical industries in project management.
- Experience in plant maintenance, technical support or engineering will also be considered.
