Quality Engineer
(Selangor - Based in Putra Industrial Park, Bukit Rahman Putra)
Responsibilities:
As the Quality Engineer, you are responsible for co-ordinating and guiding the Production team in the development, maintenance and implementation of continual improvement activities of Sonoco’s Quality & productivity program and goals. This is achieved by being involved in improving monitoring and auditing the effectiveness of Sonoco’s Safety system, Quality system & Productivity Programs.
Requirements: Education/Academic background:
- At least a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing or equivalent.
- Certified Quality Engineer.
Experience:
- Must have at least 2 years or more experience in process engineering and or QA function in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge & Skill:
- Have experience in troubleshooting and systematic problem solving methodology.
- Knowledge or exposure in ISO Quality Management System.
- Able to write SOP/SOC and technical report.
- Involvement in project management.
- Good with Microsoft Office package such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Personal trait:
- A highly motivated individual who is willing to take initiatives and follow up with details.
- Possesses an analytical mind in data analysis and problem solving.
- Works well in a team environment and able to work under challenging situations.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and at times independently.
- Good communication and presentation skills and able to communicate with all levels.
